Lake Anna Fishing

“Lake Anna (Va.) — Carlos at High Point Marina (540-895-5249) said the cooler weather is bringing fish into shallower water and they are starting to hang out around stumps, docks and shallow structure for at least part of the day.

Fish can be found in 5 to 12 feet of water unless there’s a hot spell or a bright day with no cloud cover. Early morning and late evening is a good time to break out PopRs and Chug Bugs.

Crappie are beginning to school up and move to shallower structure but can still be found around the bridges.”
