Tony Bruno……vocals & guitar

Beginning at age 15 Tony learned how to play guitar by ear along with some help from good friends – his passion for music grew by leaps and bounds in a very short time. He started performing in 1976 as a guitarist in various bands and genres. His lead vocal role began in “The Everyday Blues Band” in 1986 which was a quartet consisting of guitar, saxophone, bass and drums. Though Tony was the lead singer and the guitarist he didn’t hesitate to pull out a new and creative instrument to spice things up here and there. They were dubbed the “smallest big band” as the repertoire was mostly jump blues, swing, rock and rockabilly classics. After performing in the New England area for a solid 20 years, the band had a friendly break up in 2006. He performed in several other bands until moving to Virginia in 2012. Once in Charlottesville, Tony began performing solo at local wineries, breweries and pubs. His repertoire is expansive and now multi genre to include familiar easy listening acoustic Americana, Soul, R & B and some Country. Whether on a big stage or in an intimate room, it’s easy to see Tony’s creativity, passion and love for the music he plays.
