I’ve been a real estate agent for 11 years. I earned my Associate Broker’s license about 3 years ago and recently received the e-Pro certification. I started at Dockside Realty when I got my license and within a couple of years I became the property manager for vacation rentals and long term rentals. Since then the department has grown from 2 employees to 4 and the number of houses have more than doubled. I continued to work with clients buying and selling property at Lake Anna. Because of my experience with property management I know what clients are looking for in terms of location and features of the property. Originally from California, I have lived in Virginia since 1996. We moved to Lake Anna in 2002 first living in a water access home and then moving up to a waterfront home two years later. Since my husband was a career military officer I have had a lot of experience in different types of employment from a Business Analyst for a large software company to an engineer technician at a naval shipyard in California working on nuclear submarines. We have four children and 10 grandchildren scattered up and down the east coast and my mom and brother still live in California. In my spare time I raise Labrador retrievers and currently own four, I love to camp, travel, and scrapbook. I volunteer on the Habitat for Humanity of Louisa County Board of Directors and am the secretary of the Overton Fork Homeowners Association.
