Extraordinary home and setting.

"For our family of 24, this was ideal with plenty of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. The kayaks and paddle boards were a big hit with the kids. The two kitchens were such an asset for preparing Thanksgiving Dinner. We used both ovens and refrigerators. We would love to use this house in the summer when we can be outside more and enjoy the water to a greater extent. Great house!

"Overall, it was a really good vacation considering there was a harmful algae bloom when we arrived. The house is tucked away in a private cove and the view from the top deck of the house is absolutely gorgeous. The house itself needs a little bit of extra care, as in new shower liners for some of the bathrooms and the side porches need to be cleaned. The house could use a good power washing around the doors and windows because of all the bugs but these are all things that can be remedied. We were worried about the algae bloom, but as the week went on we were able to swim and enjoy the lake. The house has quite a few amenities that everyone enjoyed. It is spacious and accommodating. Definitely would recommend this for a vacay!

Fantastic House!

"Our family of 24 fit very comfortably in this large house with great views of the lake. The paddleboat, kayaks, slide and the water trampoline were HUGE hits with everyone. In addition, the beautifully maintained front yard provided hours of fun lawn games and family relay races. It was a memorable weekend with family, we treasured our time together. Thank you!! "We traveled with a large group of friends and family for a week vacation. The house is well appointed and very spacious. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all very large with great beds and furnishings. The yard, beach area, and dock/boathouse are all great. The children and adults enjoyed the waterslide and water trampoline. The house is on the north portion of the lake and a short distance from The Cove and Tims. The owners provide many accessories such as kayaks, paddleboards, cornhole, bikes, and even some kids toys. A great experience and would stay here again if coming to Lake Anna.

Wonderful Family Vacation

"We have a very large family (24 of us) and this house was perfect for our annual vacation. The house was very spacious and had all the amenities you could ask for - waterfront w/boat dock, fire pit, kayaks, paddle board, sliding board, etc. Everyone had a great time! - Recommedations provided to the owner is to consider lighting and/or railing for stair steps in backyard and to keep up on pest control and power washing front and back screen doors. If it weren't for these two issues I would have given this property a 5.

Fall Getaway

"We rented License to Chill for a four day fall getaway and to celebrate my husbands Birthday. There were six of us and we had the best experience with this house. The house is right on the lake, spacious and clean. The views are amazing from almost every room. The only thing I thought could be better is there are no serving dishes. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking but we had to get creative serving the food. Also we had to take the trash ourselves to the recycling center on the way out, but it was on our way so no big hassle. This is a great place for a getaway with friends and family. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Fabulous Multi-Family Vacation

"Our families so enjoyed this spacious, immaculately furnished home for our incredible family vacation. So much time spent kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming off of the large dock and boathouse. We hated to leave! The location of this home on the lake made it even better as it was not over crowded, yet in close proximity to The Cove and Tim’s restaurant. We can’t wait until our next visit! This home deserves 10 Stars!!

Great family gathering spot

We had a family group of 22 (15 slept at this house) ages 14-68. It was a perfect space for our holiday gathering with the large common areas up and down. It didn't feel crowded even with all of us eating at once. Lovely views and grounds, lots to do. A great spot!

"We had a great time, lots of fun in the lake and plenty of room in this lovely, well-equiped home! We had a 4 generation family reunion! Just a few suggestions: - Have trash picked up on Saturday, it’s so inconvenient to pack so much trash out with you on your way home. - Grab bars in 1 or 2 bathrooms for older guests would be much appreciated. - Leave a few books around for those who can’t enjoy the outdoor amenities. Thank you for sharing with us!

Best Homes with Nicest Host!

"The home was perfect for our large group! Plenty of sleeping space and areas to hang out. A group of 20+ never felt too crowded. Right on the water! Gorgeous views and the home comes with kayaks, paddle boards, and a paddleboat. All ages had fun. The best part about the home though was the owner. We left a garment and he went to the home, retrieved it, and shipped it at no cost to us. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

Spectacular Weekend Getaway

"Amazing gathering with friends at this brand new, fully equipped lakefront beauty. Enjoyed gathering in the boathouse screened in porch to watch the sun set, the rec room was great, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms, tons of room for gatherings throughout the home and in outdoor spaces. All water sports accessible from private pier/deck. Had 12 people staying here, and felt like nothing. Plenty of room to spread out. Everything is clean and new. Love it and hope to be back!

The best on the Lake

"First of all a big thanks and shout out to the owners for making this one of the best vacation homes ever. I have been bringing my family up to Lake Anna for the last 15 years. When my wife saw this online she had to have it. The home is well appointed and a great floor plan for large families. Lake access was great. The name “License to chill” says it all. We will be back in 2020 for Another great vacation. I would highly recommend this home for your next vacation spot.

"We had a chance to stay at this awesome house. The bedrooms were huge, the house was well equipped, and the section of the Lake was great. We went paddle boarding, paddle boating and kayaking all of which was provided by the owner. Large flat screen TVS throughout the house with the other amenities made this an awesome place to stay.
